Pulau Panggang – After being out of service for three months, the Bank DKI ATM on Pulau Panggang is now fully operational again. The repairs have been completed, allowing residents to resume financial transactions without having to travel to another island.
Wahyu, a member of the Pulau Panggang Urban Consultation Council (LMK), confirmed that the ATM has been fixed and is ready for use by the public.
“After three months of being out of service, the Bank DKI ATM is now functioning again. Residents can now withdraw cash without having to go to another island,” said Wahyu on Friday (8/3).
Irfan Ramdani, the person in charge of ATM installation and maintenance in Kepulauan Seribu, stated that the repairs were carried out promptly following coordination with Bank DKI to ensure the ATM was fully operational.
“We have ensured that the ATM is functioning properly and is ready to serve the financial needs of Pulau Panggang residents,” said Irfan.
In a written message, Irfan also conveyed that his team will continue monitoring the ATM’s condition to ensure its smooth operation and prevent future disruptions.
The Head of Pulau Panggang Subdistrict, Muhammad Fakih Burhanudin, expressed his appreciation for the swift efforts to resolve the issue. He emphasized that the presence of the ATM is crucial for residents in meeting their daily financial needs.
“We are very grateful to Bank DKI and the technical team who worked hard to repair the ATM. Now, residents no longer need to travel to another island just to withdraw cash,” said Fakih.
The restoration of Bank DKI’s ATM services also helps residents conduct cash transactions more easily during Ramadan, a time when household expenses typically increase.
“With the ATM back in operation, residents can now manage their financial transactions more conveniently, especially during Ramadan, when financial needs tend to rise,” added Fakih.
