Pari Island – In welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, PT Central Pondok Sejahtera (CPS) distributed 320 basic food packages to residents of Pari Island. This initiative was carried out as a social responsibility effort to help the community meet their essential needs during the fasting month.
Syahrul, the Coordinator of PT CPS’s Food Aid Program, emphasized that the donation was purely an act of compassion with no other intentions.
“This assistance comes from a place of genuine care. We hope these food packages can ease the burden on the community as they observe Ramadan,” said Syahrul Hidayat on Thursday (February 27, 2025).
The distributed packages included 5 kg of rice, canned milk, 2 kg of cooking oil, 2 kg of sugar, and financial aid for 13 orphans. The residents of Pari Island warmly welcomed the aid and expressed their gratitude.
One of the recipients, Syaiful Anwar (40), shared his appreciation for PT CPS’s support.
“I am very grateful for this assistance. The food supplies are a great help in meeting our daily needs, especially as Ramadan approaches,” said Syaiful.
Beyond distributing food packages, PT CPS remains committed to continuing its social initiatives to support those in need. The company hopes that such programs will inspire other businesses to contribute to community welfare.
PT CPS stated that its efforts are not only aimed at easing the burden on Pari Island residents but also at strengthening the relationship between the company and the local community.
